Rosell Studios and the Element 46 Tech Accelerator

We’re excited to announce that Rosell Studios is currently part of the Element 46 Tech Accelerator! This three-month program has been a launchpad for refining our vision, building strategic partnerships, and preparing to bring our digital journaling adventure game, The Lost Journal, to a wider audience.

🌱 Planning for Impact & Growth

Throughout the Element 46 program, we’ve been focused not just on product development but on long-term growth. We've been mapping out our go-to-market strategy both pre- and post-launch, and cultivating partnerships in health and education. From mental health providers to classroom educators, we’re exploring how The Lost Journal can become a tool for wellbeing, reflection, and learning.

🚧 Traction and Development Milestones

We’ve made exciting progress! During the program, we completed a short development sprint on our Alpha Demo, which now includes two playable scenes:

• The original Alpha Demo, first presented at Northeastern’s Husky Startup Challenge in Fall 2022, is now bug-fixed. Using grounding techniques and exploration, this segment explores real-life applications in a fun, gamified space.

• The newly added Winter Walk Scene is a more open-ended, reflective experience where players can freely explore and write in their in-game journal. Also, meet a new character, Proteus, the traveling merchant.

This summer (2025), we're expanding our studio team with three talented interns who will be working on game design, storyboarding, and narrative writing—bringing fresh perspectives and new ideas to our creative process.

The culmination of our Element 46 journey will be showcased at Demo Day on June 12, where we’ll present The Lost Journal to an audience of founders, investors, educators, and game enthusiasts. We can’t wait to share what we’ve been working on—and where we’re headed next.
